DONATION POLICY

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Information regarding donations, payment issues and refund requests.

1. General Policy

STONY FOUNDATION appreciates every contribution made by donors. Donations are generally intended to support the organization's eligible charitable and community development activities.

2. Donation Cancellation

Once a donation has been successfully processed, cancellation may not always be possible.

If you have made a donation by mistake or need assistance with a transaction, please contact STONY FOUNDATION as soon as possible.

3. Duplicate Transactions

If the same donation amount has been charged more than once because of a technical or payment processing issue, the donor may contact us with the relevant transaction details.

After verification, eligible duplicate transactions may be considered for refund through the applicable payment process.

4. Failed Transactions

If your bank account has been debited but the donation transaction has not been successfully recorded by our system, please contact us with the transaction reference and payment details.

The transaction will be checked with the relevant payment gateway or banking channel.

5. Refund Request

Refund requests should include sufficient transaction information to allow verification.

  • Donor name
  • Registered mobile number
  • Email address
  • Donation date
  • Donation amount
  • Transaction/reference ID
  • Reason for the refund request

6. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed through the original payment method or another appropriate method permitted by the payment service provider.

The actual time required for the refund to appear in the donor's account may depend on the bank, card issuer or payment gateway.

7. Payment Gateway

Online donations may be processed through a third-party payment gateway.

Payment gateway processing, banking delays, technical failures or transaction reversals may be subject to the gateway's applicable terms and policies.
